I actually really like the one of Kagome. The only thing I would change is her hand holding the candle - I imagine you'd hold it more like a teacup, with the index finger through the handle and the thumb kind of just in the air (or resting on top of the handle for steadiness) with the other three fingers' tips touching her palm (trying to explain here, I had to do it w/ my own hand to see, ha). But that's me. :)

Ah, I see what you mean. =) Heh, maybe I should try working on hands more than drawing heads all the time. >.>; Hands are usually a hit or miss for me. >.>;

I was trying to emulate what Stephanie Pui-Mun Law (http://www.shadowscapes.com/) does for her backgrounds, but it's a little annoying to duplicate it through pencil. =X That and I probably should try doing realistic backgrounds before I try more fantasy-based ones. ^^;

I'm actually glad you like the Kagome one. I might like it too, except I'm still really frustrated with the background. Don't want to touch it again! XD;
